Ask most Americans about child prostitution and they’ll probably think of some far away country. The fact is it’s happening in our own backyard. More than 200,000 American kids are at risk of falling into prostitution every year. ECPAT (End Child Prostitution and Trafficking) asked us to help raise awareness about it.
Our campaign featured “Emma,” a hand-painted doll. At first glance, Emma looked just like any other. But as you stripped away the layers, the shocking truth was revealed.
ECPAT put Emma front and center in many of their communications. The video and the website we created also proved popular. Even the French government took notice—they asked ECPAT to help them address the issue in their country.
